16" wires and brakes ??

I am going to run 16" wires on my project I got the wheels and I have a 48-52 F1 front axle I'm going to use. My next decision is brakes, I have the stock truck spindles and am trying to decide between disc's or drums, I know either way there will at least be a spacer for the wheel to sit corect, but can I fit these with disc's? or do I need to go with drums, if so what can I get with the 5 on 5 1/2 pattern.
