I finally figured if i was ever going to drive one of these projects i would be better off just buying one that ran.

Mad dash to Cottonwood AZ last night with Jess and his monster truck.
$2500 on CL. This was a '25 IH schoolbus from NE. It was shortened and a '27
Ford tub added. All original running gear with new brakes and tires.'35 Ford wheels.Two speed rearend.

Real seats, a muffler, treads on the tires and it runs! And hey, it looks like the same suspension as those Peterbuilts you drive. You should feel right at home.

I think you'd better send that old guy in Cottonwood some more money, so you don't get arrested for stealing it (although it is a little pricey for a hair dryer).

We need some pics of the motor and the inside. I'd like to see that 2 speed shifter.

I know it's not mine and you didn't ask, BUTTTTTTT..... I'm going to give you my opinion anywho. I don't care for the big panel of wood in the back. I think it would look much better with steel. Or at least a spare tire or a big piece of luggage or jerry cans back there.

Yes I do think my $.02 is worth $1.25.

Thanks for your input Sam. This is how i bought it. It said Paris to Istanbul 1927 across the back. Came with US and Turkish flags. I am watching a spare wheel on ebay now to go on the back.

Apparently the engine was upgraded to a new fangled '28 at sometime.Still no water pump or oil pump tho.That is a modified Jeep diz. Produced at the Wakesha WI plant. Haven't determined the displacement or hp yet. The car looks big in the pix and it is tall but it is only an 86" wheelbase.
