If you plan to lay frame, figuring out your frame will be fairly simple if you take the time. Start with a 2x4 mock-up. Decide on your wheelbase and cab placement. Use a piece of plywood cut to the size of your motor from the side with important distances marked off. Use a cardboard box for the grill if you don't have one. Adjust it all until you get the proportions you want.
Laying frame means bags, so you can figure your kick-ups over your axles can be probably 1" above them aired out. If you don't want your frame on the ground, just the body, prop the main rails up to the desired height.
If you use springs, you need to consider spring height and how much they will compress under load.
