Likes 2 Tinker, Search under "convertible sedan". You might find more information. I found the below. Pretty rare I would say.

"417,528 Plymouth vehicles were made in the 1939 model year. The Deluxe (P8) model far outsold the entry-level Road King (P7) model. Almost half of the Plymouths produced were 4-door sedans. There were 5,976 convertible coupes manufactured along with 387 4-door convertibles, 1,777 woody wagons and 1,850 limousines with a 20" stretch."

Here's some photos I found too:

That kind of car should be restored! Very rare as are all 4 door convertible sedans. I know 2 people that have a convertible sedan both all original a 38 Buick and a 39 Plymouth. Very populars cars to rent out for weddings.

thats my plan i am sorry guys i cant chop this one up this will be a compleat restoration back to allmost compleat original hopefully i will haul it and the Hudson home after work on friday so i will post pictures as soon as i can
