1951 chevy straight.jpg ( These are not the acrual trucks just close to what i am looking at.)

I was wondering what some of you might do? I was thinming of leaving them on there frames and updating the front and rear sups. I know some have built with same frames doing a Z front and rear. Just looking for something different. And both for $1100 delivered with titles i am told.

Give me some ideas[S

Thanks

I think $1100 is a good deal if they look as good as the ones pictured. I like the idea of building the factory frame with modern parts, maybe you can fab a bed and build it look like a slammed dually.

If the trucks look as good as the pictures I know they would be sitting in the driveway at my shop as soon as I could get the money to the man.You can scrap the running gear from them and get most of your money back.If you put the axles on top of the springs it will lower it several inches.

Keep the duals, shorten up the frame, axle over the springs in front. Done, and with an old school '60's down in front stance. But then it wouldn't be trendy like everyone elses would it. Never mind :D

The trucks

Well finally went out and got to see what i was told about. They are not grain trucks but 1 ton i think.

Now there are more trucks are cars there.... 2 White semi tractors a 48 and a 49 a mid 50's chevy 3/4 ton ( so i am told) a buick a couple 63 chevy dup trucks with 305 V6's in them.

Stay tuned for more pics of the other stuff.

The other stuff

I asked the "old man" as he is called 78 and still working! If any of it was for sale he said it all is.
The buick is or was his great great Aunts and it ran when parked in 1980 but not inside, it is complette. He is going to sit down with his sone the guy( i bought the 2 chevys from for a $1000 for both and that includes delivery! ) And they are going to put prices on it all. So as i get info i will pass it on. Some of these are still titled in his name.

Those White cabs would make killer rats but for the old man's sake there are truck restorers who would bid big for those. Congrats on yours
