Hi guys I just bought a 51 Chevy 4100. Im going to put my 36 Chevy body on its frame. i want to use the original Wheels off the 41 is there other rear end i could use instead? or swap the gears? Going to start a build thread as soon as i get rolling down hill here very soon.

The truck wheels are tube-type (they won't accept a tubeless tire) and likely split rims... AKA "widow makers".

Gears of an acceptable ratio... not likely.

Some late model trucks (Chevy/GMC HD and Super Duty Fords???) have the same bolt pattern but their pilot/hub openings may differ. Offset, wheel depth and brake clearance may be a concern as well.

Now, I have a question. Why a car body on a "heavy" dual wheel truck chassis?

I think those 10 hole wheels are unique to GM trucks. I also think they quit using that bolt pattern around the early 60's. All were 2 or 3 piece wheels. They only fit 1.5 ton and up GM axles. Too heavy and low geared for a car.
 
I'd find something newer to use for axles personally... find a rim that is similar in aesthetics.

i actually found a 1995-6 Dodge 3500 frame. im going to use the bed off of it for a 50 Chevy 4100 i found. but im going to use the chassis for my 36 Chevy. and a 360/auto for my drive train.
