Here are a few more pictures from Wayne, my Australian buddy.
It is a van built for the burn out competion at the Ingham car show.

A stripped van, a couple of 351 Cleveland engines, a couple of C4 trannys,
all hooked to a special double Ford 9" diff... let the smoke roll......

In my opinion, it could use some safety equipment (drive shaft hoops, etc).
But it does burn tires... '22

Well thats one way to get absolutely positive slip. Im going to assume that there isnt a shaft between the pumpkins, just one shaft going to each wheel from each pumpkin?

That is what I was thinking... each tire is powered independently....

Have you ever seen the burn out comp down under? It looks to be a bunch of smokey doughnuts. It is hard to tell for sure but maybe that is the situation. All the burnout comps I have seen were straight lines. And I here when they flush their toilets the water goes the other way.
