I know this is kind of worthless without pictures to help. I had met a local guy who has a Model A Coupe in his barn. He is a builder has his own shop, getting older and is debating selling a few of his cars to build as he calls it, his pention plan. The car is pretty much complete, although it is in two separate barns in peices. He says he wants to sell as a complete car, he has rebuilt the original 4cyl engine, original frame and all steel fenders, as well as a set of glass fenders and running boards. The body is in fairly good shape, some rust around the deck lid to the lower part of the body at the rear, newer floor panels and trunk floor have been installed. He was collecting parts and had intentions of restoring it.

Long and short I am trying to figure out money wise what it would be worth. He has told me if he decides to sell he'll let me know, or if I feel the need to make him an offer and go from there. So just trying to get an idea if it's worth persuing, or if it is better left to a restorer, and I search for a rustier option.... sorry for the rambling have a fair bit rumblin through the old thinker today.

Pete,
I'd do some searchin' on daBay & you should get an idea of price range!

Thanks, I have been just nothing real compairable... Best I can tell is somewhere between $3500-6000 seems to be in the ball park... anywho just rambling again...

They are priceless...

Well its seems that way to people who are selling 30 to 31 5 window coupes.I can tell you after looking for months for one they are pricey.Even ones for sale off of the BAY.I have priced rust buckets for a price that just seemed stupid, but the guy told me.."Its worth what you will pay for it." Hate guys with attitudes...good luck man.

I paid $3700 for this with title and drove it on trailer..........

Didn't know stuff like that was still hidden away locally; I'm a half hour from you. Any word from him on your price yet ?

Right place, right time, man. Even here in the rust belt, there's still old fellas to be found who were canny enough to rathole this stuff when it was still fairly easy to come by, cheap and in decent shape.

There was some pretty retarded prices being asked for old rusty garbage at Barrie this past September and solid, unhacked stuff was going for astronomical dough.

Funny enough, the most prevalent selling catch words I saw/heard this year were "RAT" and "ROD.":D

Regards,
Shea:)
