The car is done!!!!
Nothing to do but wait for some nice weather to enjoy the car!!
Here are the specs:
1930 Ford FORDOR
2x3x.250" tube frame
6" Front "Z"
18" rear kick
129" Wheel base
64" track width
Crossver steering using a 67 Camaro Manual box w/panahard
4 link rear suspension w/panhard
454 BBC engine
Edelbrock 750 carb and performer fuel pump. aluminum dual plane intake
TH350 Transmission
800-15 Coker classics on rear
560-15 Coker classics on front
8.8 Ford rear axle w/3.08 gears
Camaro disc front brakes/ Ford drum on back
Split front bones w/possies reverse eye spring w/2 additional springs added to the pack for the engine weight
41 Ford axle-STOCK....no drop
Homemade headers w/lobak racing mufflers
11 gallon fuel tank
Seats are out of a skid loader
B&M pro-ratchet shifter
Hurst LINE-LOCK
1963 Chevy single circuit master cylinder
I built the wiring harness
safetyglass windshield, original side door windows that go up and down, rear windows are LEXAN
Car is painted with one quart of Rustoleum Flat black and one quart of Rustoleum Gloss Sunrise Red...mixed them together to get the color I wanted..added some enamal hardener and acetone..sprayed it on in my driveway with my old Binks siphone feed gun...total cost $32.00 for the paint job!!
Total out of pocket expense was $3980 to built this car. I started with no parts other than the 11 gallon fuel tank...everthing else was either swap meet, ebay or stuff purchased off of forums.
Here was the FIRST DRIVE video...nothing special..just a EASY cruise to make sure the car would stop, turn, shift....ect

pay no attention the WHINING sound...that was an electric fuel pump that I got rid off due to the noise!!! I now run a mechanical pump!
