Ok, here's what it looked like the day I brought her home. Got the interior out and the top chopped 3 1/2" since then. I've started on the donor frame and have most of it boxed and the mounts for the 350 sbc in place. Next thing is to get the rear end mounted up and the front end components mocked up then will pull the body off the original frame.

looks like a great car to start with!! keep us updated and pics posted....
..just wonderin'..what company's wiring harness will you use?;):D
 
Glenn, that is a great start. The car looks really solid. Man I wish we had something that nice sitting around here for sale. Dang rust belt!
 
Thanks...It is a really solid car. I had thought about removing all the wood, but it's so nice I think I'm going to keep it and work with what's there.
 
keeping the wood would be great. Its cool to see those old cars with the wood floors. Its crazy to think that it lasted this long.
 
There's a product callet Qwik Poly that is a water thin epoxy. It soaks into old wood and really firms it up. Google it.
