'35 spoke wheels on an F1 axle

Maybe someone has already been here. I wanted to run some '35 16 X 4 Ford spoke wheels on a 49 Ford F1 pickup axle...and the drums are too large (diameter). Are we talkin' some kind of spacer or different drums here. These are the wheels that need a spacer because of the way they mount anyways.
Got ideas?

Found some 1" spacers online that should do the trick!

I'm not sure but doesn't the center of those wheels have to set in a flange on the hub.
