I have always loved those grilles.

Looks like it's ready for the road now. Just add gas and drive it home?? Maybe air the tires up some....

That is a great looking truck, the patina is so nice too!
I like the grille, I like how the body lines start on the grille and run through the door too.

I've never much liked the grilles on them. I can take or leave them.
Is there two bumpers on this gem?

There is a fenderless using the grill and hood that is one of my favorites - looks like it was set up for the salts. Just looks ready to race. Probably in Earthman's rat rod picture thread.

That licence plate is a treasure. Az would run the number and let you use it. I have seen them like that here with no paint left on it.

snake thats a very nice truck .. and dmw thats a fine ride you got there ,, front wheels look like the old VW pattern ... I like the stack on it too. :D

Snake that truck is beautiful. Yes that is a double heavy duty bumper. Why, I don't know. Gus is doing well still wheelin and dealin.
The truck has a later model dual rear axle on it and it looks like it had a dump box on it. I'll bet they drove it until the flatty died.
The front hubs a Ford wide fives. They had those I believe 1935-39.

That is a decent looking cab, way better than the average one you find. The wide 5s were 37-39. I love seeing them on an old rod. You can use them over the juice brakes too. I'm not a huge fan of the big snout on the 38-39 but I sure wouldn't pass that one up.
