49-50ford grill bracket??????

Can any one tell me if this grill supprt bracket is sopose to be bent like this ,if not do you have a pic of how one is supose to be ?
This bolts to the back of the grill and top of the hood latch plate on my coupe.It dose not fit right the way it is?
But it dosent look like it is bent or any thing ,looks factory?
