58 Chevy bed to a 64 Dodge

I got a bed off a 58 chevy 3/4 ton long bed stepside that is in excellent shape, I'm thinking I might pull the really beat bed long bed stepside off my Dodge and replace it with the chevy bed, Any problems you might see with doing this?

I like the looks of the Chevy bed over the Dodge, if it don't work then I'll probably sell the Chevy bed, scrap the Dodge bed and build a flat bed.

No tailgate on the Chevy bed or floor but it is very straight, the dodge bed is solid but beat pretty hard, no floor and a badly beat tailgate.

Why not! I put a 65 Chevy bed on a 51 Ford.

have no fear, Dr's splice DNA all the time! Do it! and then run a ford motor with a nissan tranny! JK. I would use it though.
