Just did a quick drive by but I told him I'd take it. Pretty banged up old ranch truck, 1/2 ton long bed and he can't get a title, or hasn't tried. Wants 250 for it and it is a running driving pickup with a 283 4 speed.
I figure if nothing else I can keep the drivetrain and whatever else is good and haul the rest away for scrap, or make a trailer.
Gotta work all week, won't be able to get pictures until Sunday.

wonder if a bill of sell from alabama would fix you up. nothing from al. 74 and older doesn't have a title.

How does that work, do you have to show them the truck if it isn't in their system?
I think it's a bit of a murky waters deal. I found out some stuff this morning from the guys dad. He had bought the pickup from an old rancher whose kid thought he should have it and was mad. Then the old man dies and the kid isn't going to fork over the title, may have destroyed it. I would drive it if I can get it titled. I guess the 283 runs sweet, and those old torsion bar chevys ride nice.

If it's been titled in South Dakota before I wouldn't take a chance.
Part it out it'll have a 12 bolt rear with the engine will be worth the 250. jmho
Do you mean truck arms they don't have torsion bars ?
