I love that body style and have got my eye on a local one. Price wise, who can really say. There are alot of trucks around here and I expect on the open market 4-600 localy would be okay. There, who knows. The thing is, if you bought one here you couldn't get it to you for less than 400 bucks. So it is probably a great deal. esp. if it is what you like!

that truck is cool lakota, i don't know why but i really love early dodges. they got everything right in the looks department. i say jump on it, sell the flat head, and put a dodge cummins diesel motor in it.

The wife and I are discussing finances now. We just buried both of her parents, Mother in May and Father in July, so our budget is a little tight.
I going to grab that 41 Dodge truck. Only this time I'm going full out radical. I was conservative with the 52 Ford on an S-10 frame with a 327 Chevy engine. When I say radical, I don't mean a wild paint job.

Good price!

Lakota,
I think that is a good price. I love that body style & front sheet metal. A lot of them r pretty rusted but that looks like it's in pretty good shape! I'd buy it!!!

BoB

I scratched the surface with sandpaper. It's blistery, but only surface rust. The metal underneath is solid. There are a few pinholes in the floor at the crease near the firewall. The frame is solid. It'll clean up with a little work. I'm not concerned about the front axle, it'll get changed out to an IFS... OOOPS, giving away my secrets.

Nice find Lakota. And the price ain't too hard to swallow either.

Secrets?? there's no secrets here! :D

thats what I am looking for here in the eastern washington thing right now is a 38-47 dodge cab/nose and bed to put on my 82 Dodge D-50 frame ( sad thing is the D-50 is a NICE straight truck but just needs old sheetmetal on it), after I do the rearend this weekend thats the ONLY thing that was left to rebuild, only has 1500 miles on everything and its 4wd, so with a 38-47 cab/nose/bed it will have 4wd and look like a stock Dodge pickup with old slotted wheels and get 38mpg ( kinda crazy an 82 Dodge d-50 4X gets 38 but it does, could be the new engine and weber carb and just everything is right) Lakota, AWESOME Find there, will make a SAWEEEEEEEEEEEEET Ride.
