Stumbled upon this forum looking for rat rods. Seems like a cool place to be so I decided to join. The newest car I own is an 85 AMC Eagle but my daily driver is a beat up 77 Ford F-100 that has been rigged and re-rigged over the course of the 7 years I have owned it. Currently has twin shifters for the 3 speed manual and a custom wood flat bed. I was driving a 63 Rambler Classic until it blew on me a month ago 
Sold it and bought me another old crate to tool around in for $400 bucks.
It is a 53 Willys Aero Lark. All original for now, it has the original flathead six which runs like a top and a 3 speed manual. I towed it home using my mighty F-100. That was an adventure in itself with running out of gas on the interstate, headlights that stopped working, engine quitting, and getting lost. Luckily I carry electrical tape and plenty of wire and I can walk It was 170 miles one way.
