Well I didn't get much done this weekend that shows up in pics so I'll just show these couple of things. I changed out my block hugger headers for some rams horn type manifolds. Since I had to get rid of my nice cloth covered spark plug wires because of my electronic distributor, I decided to just run some black wires down behind the headers. The wires still need to be loomed.

Here's the new rams horns and plug wires. I still have to make new pipes back to the mufflers.

I also painted and assembled my Lincoln style backing plates in anticipation of my upcoming Buick finned drum installation. My second pair of drums have also now been ruined by a machine shop. I need yet another pair now.

Currently watching it snow big time. But I thought about getting something done this weekend....too late now.

Great job Gastrick, I dig those rams horn E manifolds.

Those new manifolds look great. Glad to see someone was able to get something done this weekend. Things have been too hectic for me to get anything done .

Those manifolds look great. They Speedway peices or from elsewhere? You just aren't having any luck with those Buick drums. Bet you'll be relieved when you can finally get them done. I'm so far behind plans I had for both cars, it's pitiful.

Yes Bruce, the manifolds are Speedway pieces. I was going to use stock Chevy rams horns, but I liked those so much better, I went with them. I've actually been wanting to do that for a while now. And no, I'm not having any luck with the drums:mad:.

Wow Bill, what the heck is going on with those drums? This is one of the easiest operations for a machine shop to perform, what are they doing to ruin them?

Manifolds look great. Supposedly, they flow like headers too.

I picked up the 3x2 Rectangular tubing for my new chassis on Saturday.

Also, I started measuring off my 6" chop last night. I haven't chopped anything before, so I am going to measure 8 times (kidding) before cutting once.

Good news is I removed my old cracked windshield last night and learned that my window crank and hinges are still fully functional. I was pretty worried as it was rusted shut previously, but a Dremel with a cutting wheel took out a seized bolt, and some PB Blaster (I love the stuff) took care of the rest.

Good weekend all in all, but more work tonight.

got 90% of my fiberglass done on the battery compartment in the vette. had a storm blow in sunday, so, picture me under my corvette with the wind blowing 15mph, raining sheets, and i'm trying to apply resin so i can get my car patched up for the drive to work monday :p. God I need a garage.

i tossed some paint on it and I'll sand down the rough spots next weekend, and hopefully get it done soon. I've been taking pictures but it's kinda shady looking so I'll wait until it's done before showing you guys. :p

Well we got about 15" + of snow so the only things I got done were the floor and radiator/grille support on the 33. and Gas, that looks AWESOME.
