A sad day in automotive history!!!

June 21st, 1901 - Connecticut becomes the first state to enact a speeding law... damn!!! What was it... 15 mph?!? Did they invent the speeding ticket at the same time!? Did they have police cars? Did they have pursuit vehicles? How could they tell how fast you were going... radar?!

There should only be speed limits for bad drivers. I hate not being able to run an old car as fast as is "safe" at least to know how fast they can go.
