As long as his memory is alive he will never die. That's a cool truck BTW. I am sure he will be smiling down on it every time it rolls out.
Thanks for this thread and an opportunity to look back and honor those who left us this year. It has been a tough one for me. My mom passed in May and I am still not right. All we can do is press onward...

I lost 2 uncles and a close friend this year.
One uncle (Uncle Pop) fought in the war, battle of the buldge. He never mentioned it thou. I learned of it after his pasing.
My uncle Glenn raced in the off road series aganist Micky Thompson in the 70's. He was the one I was named after.
A very close friend (Gay Gay) died in a car wreck on her way home from work 2 1/2 months ago. Her husband Rocky is a good friend that did run an alcahol funny car in IHRA untill the class was dropped. I hope next year is better foe everyone.

Still crazy after all these years!
This could become a long and sobering thread. I've reached the age where unfortunately losing friends and relatives is a regular occurance. Doesn't make it any easier though. Been to several funerals in 2010.

Lost a good friend and club member in Jan. man was he missed. He was always the first one to a show or cruise. You always heard there George. And there he would be standing by his mode A sedan delivery {Overdue Express} or his yellow 55 Chevy smiling and wearing his straw hat or baseball cap.
