Another Craig's List scam - home leasing!

Well... there's another CL scam goin' on here in H-town! Scammers are finding homes listed on the real MLS system & then offering them with the Realtors pictures on CL for a lot less than the real owners are asking. They are leasing homes to folks they don't even own... krazy!!!

That has been done before, renting apartments
to several people at the same time etc.
Collect first and last months rent plus security deposit, and disappear.

Yeah... they've been doing that here too, taking $$$ from several people, but really haven't used CL B4.

Crazy huh? I saw one for rent and I called about it and of course the guy was in Africa doing whatever he does best and the deal kept getting better and better. I checked thru public records and he didn't now or ever own the home, it was a bank foreclosure!...CR
