Any old license plate gurus out there.

I dug this out of the back side of a fender I’m working on, was used for welding backer. The owner is kind of curious of the year for sure. As you can see it has the plate number J-11075 and has WA in the bottom corner and maybe the S and the tip of the H, so I know it is from Washington. I can make out that the plate was white with green lettering. and this style of plate ended in 1952. but other then that no clue. Anyone have a idea.

Thanks DrC, you are the man. I think it would be safe to say it is from 1942 to 1944.
