Anybody have a Hollanders manual? Steering box interchange

Anybody got an old Hollanders manual that covers 1946-48? I'm curious to know if the steering box on my Lincoln is the same as a Ford of the same vintage. Also would like to know the diameter of the shaft, thinking about just using the original box with a GM tilt column and will have to have a u joint that fits the shaft and the GM double D column.
