Koool factoid... Henry Ford. Ford hatred waste & noticed they had a lot of wood & sawdust waste so with the help of a chemist he invented the brickette & Henry marketed Ford Charcoal Brickettes. He convinced people to drive in their car somewhere, have a picnic & grill with his brickettes. He later sold the brickette company to E. G. Kingsford who still makes them to this day!

Good ol' Henry. He sure knew how to make a buck. He was friends with Thomas Edison. They were also, supposedly, friends with Ellsworth B. A. Zwoyer, who invented and patented the charcoal briquette in 1897.

Interesting fact. :)

Here's another about Ford's credit for the assembly line.

"The 1901 to 1904 Oldsmobile Curved Dash was the first mass-produced car,[1] made from the first automotive assembly line, an invention that is often miscredited to Henry Ford and the Ford Motor Company. (Ford was the first to manufacture cars on a moving assembly line.)"
