Hmmmm, he pulled it off to replace it with a "freshly rebuilt one". Wonder why he got rid of this one? Rotors inside these things will wear as will lots of other parts, used blowers are a crap shoot. I would be careful.

Yeah but then again they are fairly inexpensive to rebuild

I asked if it needed to be rebuilt. Haven't heard back yet though.
 
If it was inexpensive to rebuild the owner would have done that instead of putting on a whole new unit. There is a reason he pulled this one for a new one.

As for being inexpensive to rebuild, depends on what is wrong. Seals and bearings aren't bad but if rotors need replaced or redone or if the case is worn the cost can climb significantly.

I'm just leary when someone replaces some part then wants to sell it to someone else.

Yeah you got me there - never thought about the rotors sorry my bad :( :eek: But the snout, idler pulley and bracket are worth the $425
