Hello to All,
My partner and i are from Moonta South Australia.
We have been bitten by the rat rod bug so here we are....
Weve had a few old beasts and tinkered with everything possiable automotive. But absolutley love the rat rod, they are absolute pieces of art work!
Our first little rat rod is a Datsun (Ratsun) 720 Diesel (which was recently entered in a burnout competition, and was the last 4cyl alive).

Weve started a new project. We have a 1950's Bedford cab, and a 1947 bedford grille which were hoping to cut, chop, and section, with the help of this site -Hopefully - lol
It will be our first major reconstruction of this sort.
Weve bought a 318 V8 to power it, all chucked on top of a 1970's Mitsubishi chassis.
In true rat rod style, were doing it on the cheap. The cab & front grille were free, chassis for free and $500 for a running motor and trans which came out of a Jag.

Once we get abit further into it, we'll posta progress thread. Any input and ideas along the way would be greatly appreciated :)

Cheers,
Damo & Gem

Welcome to right side drivers

Now don't confuse the right side for the correct side. Just kidding! Looking forward to seeing some of the not so usual (US type) vehicles and the cool ideas and constructions. Have fun at this site. It is a very cool place. Steve
