Hey guys a while back one of you said you had ran B and B carbs on your inline 6 I have tryed to find that post with out any luck. I have a few Question I would like to ask. I picked up 3 for my inline Chevy to day at a swap meet and will be running them ( I hope;)) I would like to know where I can find info on them rebuild,parts,tune,ect... also I was thinking of running a mild street cam but don't know what would be best. my engine is a stock 250 cu in will have heaters and a HEI ingnition. backed by a 3sp ending in a GM 10 bolt with 350 gearing any info would be helpful Thanks Doug

I believe you are refering to rochester model B , carbs , they should be 1 barrels , any auto parts store will carry rebuild kits for them , they are very common
 
B&B, ball and ball is a Carter isn't it? I'm no expert but I'd think getting the power valves (if they have them) softened up is the main part. You might need to jet down a few sizes and if you can't find jets, this is what I have done. Take a jet to a good hardware stoe that has an assortment of numbered drill bits and find the one that just goes through, now get a small selection the next few sizes smaller (or larger if you needed). Then you solder (or epoxy, jb weld) the jets shut and start with your smallest drill bit and redrill them. Keep drilling the next size until you have them where you want.
