We *really* lucked out!!! The eye came directly over H-town but it was a big bust. Barely any wind & just a little rain... which we really needed. What a relief!!! The last time a storm was a direct hit here.. we weren't quite so lucky!!! Thanks for askin'!

Yeah glad this was asked, was wondering how was down there. Hadnt heard from the family there so i was assuming everything was alright. They live about 30 miles below ya tripper.

Don't know if you ever had the pleasure of meeting a fella who goes by the name of "Corn Flake" (Elmer Smith) from Houston....but the last time you guys got hit hard his 40 Ford coupe was under almost 4 feet of water that decided to form as a river through his garage.
