I had too much going on earlier and now I have the chance to FINALLY get some heat in my shop!
I'm building my own wood burner! I will shear and form the channel that hold the fire brick tomorrow at work and then get the brick and the main part will be complete. The door will be next.I am building it to specs. of a buddys stove and his is said to heat 3600 sq.ft. My shop is only 2400 sq.ft. OTTA do it!The pic of the welds inside the stove(pic 4) were done by my wife! Not bad HUH?The pic of the elbow is the pipe that goes from the stove to the chimney. It is 8 in. dia. and 5/16'' thick!Shouldn't rust out no time soon! LOL!

I understand that woodburning stoves have really come a long way in recent years........so much more efficient now. Looks like a nice one you are building there.

draft

think about a fan forced air draft, I can burn phone books completely up, i run the tubes in from the top so the air is hot when hitting the fire area , used a small blower fan
