I'm Mickey and we have a club in Dewey called Stray Kat Kustoms.
We believe in real Kustoms, Hot Rods, real music and real drivers. I
own a '50 Merc that is all chopped up and has 120k on the odometer.
Also have a '60 Chevy Impala and a '55 Chevy that was my old High
School car. We put on events in the Midwest to promote our hobby.
We love the new movement with Kustoms and Hot rods and I want to
continue to see it grow. Thanks to everyone involved with this and it
will create more interest in our hobby. Hopefully I can add something
to the site.

Sorry guys forgot to post the pics..... The first picture is what I started
with around '93. It was an abused '90 style '50 Merc that was tryingto look
high tech. A good friend of mine built the car so I knew even though it was
ugly it was built right. It had a good foundation. Merc was channeled three
inches over a 77 Cougar running gear. She is a cruizer. I drove the car for
years everyday to work because I had to and wanted to. Two years a go
Ralph Schindel called me and wanted to do some work on my Merc. I have a
drive way and bare tools so I was not able to do much to the Merc. Looking
at the pictures you can see the project took off and Ralph saved me Merc. I
had an extra Merc parts cars in my back yard so we extended the doors six
inches replaced the hood and graphed '51 Merc front fenders, '51 Merc Hood,
The grill is two '54 Chrylsler New Yorker grill bars with a '51 Ford grill support
and my Dash is a '52 Mercury, back bumper is a split '53 Caddy with tailights
cut into the bumper.

Mercury has gone through a lot and has gone through many changes
throughout the years. Looking forward to many more years of cruzin.

Thanks guys for the welcome... I'm not a Cowboy or a Sooner. I'm a huge
sports fan but I didn't attend either school. I've been a Sooner football
fan and then switch to Cowboy basket ball. Yes, I'm all mess'd up thats
why I'm into Kustoms.....

Some extra pics.....This winter, (not done yet) I plan on redesigning my
fender skirts so they will flow better with the Merc lines...and I'm in the
process of re-doing a 53 Buick Banjo steering wheel. Maybe next year..

Mick, after looking at the last pic. I take it was a 4 door ?!?! is that correct?

I grew up north of Tulsa between Collinsville and Owasso, went to college in Nebraska but I'm a big Sooner football fan.
