Saturday I talked to Jerry and Devona Titus at the Starbird show and they wanted
me to help them get the word out that hey have already improved the Spectacular in Salina.
For the guys that have been to Salina before, you noticed a couple of things. One,
that the park was full of the kool Kustoms and Hot Rods. Two, there was no more
room for growth. It is amazing how much room you need to hold over a thousand
Kemps. This is a kool problem to have. The City of Salina has contacted the Titus
and they have agreed to move the show to a bigger, better and cruising friendly park.
The Oakdale park has better facilities and just as much shade as the other park.This
is a great move for the show and I can't wait to get up there. This year I’m predicting
1,500 Kempers...
