just got bored and wondered what is the biggest bore you've ever heard of for a gasoline engine?
I say gas engine because i know diesels can get into the feet to yard range for bore....

John Deere Model G. Manufactured from 1924 to 1953. 2 Cylinder. 6.75" bore by 7.00" stroke. 501 cu. in.

allright i'll throw another ruling in there, lets say gas car engines, i know a bbc 502 or 572 come with around 4.56" bore and a dart block goes up to 4.625", anyone heard of a street vehicle with a larger bore than that?

bore

I ran a chevy 400 sb from a blazer for a while...the bore was so maxed out..from the factory...the water jackets were too thin and overheated all the time..keep in mind...i put a new water pump and pulled out the thermostat...still she overheated...
