Thanks guys.
It's going to be a busy week. We're going to a football game
in Spearman, Texas tomorrow, a ranch rodeo at Clarendon, Texas Saturday,
then home Sunday so my bride can go to work. Then I'm going to North Platte, Nebraska the first part of next week to take Billy his stuff.

My arse is already hurting and I haven't even left yet.

WOOT!

pops
you are one of the good ones.[cl

update on the dodge
i scared up the moolah to have it repaired.
i am mailing the mechanic the key today and he will start work on it as soon as he gets it.
(probably mon or tues)
then when i get it back home
i get to remove the dash just to replace the heater core............:(

I WONDER HOW THE WEASEL WILL DRIVE ON ICE?
hmm
we shall see
but i predict donuts in my future :D

You'll be doing donuts in the dually on the ice too.
It's a whole different ball game with a dually.

I'll see you next week and I'll call you when I get close.

I feel for ya on the heater core. I've done two of them and they are no picnic [S :(
FWIW, If you will run a PH chem test every year you'll never have anymore trouble. The system gets out of PH balance and the cocktail is what eats through the core.

It was a fast and furious 1450 mile 2 day trip.
Slung the rubber off one tire on the pick up coming home. Maybe I can get
it adjusted. Still holding air, the tread just separated.

Glad it worked out on the Dodge Billy.

A couple of awe inspiring New Mexico sunrise shots going up to Nebraska.

I just use a voltmeter. Clamp the neg to any ground and drop the pos into the juice, set on DC volts, anything over .150 volt is time to flush or add some good inhibitor. Actually there is a standard somewhere that says .250 volts but I think electrolysis is already taking place when it's that high.

Also Billy, some of us from up here get through North Platt a couple times a year if you ever need anything from this direction.
