Body chop

Okay showed a guy at work what i have been doing. He has a mid 50's thinks it a 55 chev truck. We got to talking about top chops and such when he asks does any one ever chop the center section? take like 3-4-5 or even 6 inched right out of the center? So has any one done this? Got pics of it?
pros and cons of doing it ect...

yea its called sectioning
never done it but its supposedly a little difficult - youve got the different panels youre going to have to cut and make sure your lines line up - plus theres the inner panels and braces that youll also have to cut and match up - and then you have all the steering and such to line up--
benefits - it looks freakin amazing when done well.

not the greatest example but heres one -- ill find a better.

In the Aug issue of Truckin they sectioned a panel truck if you could find an issue.

wow that does look bad ass i have seen this done befor and i no it has to be alot but if its worth having its not going to be easy

They used to section shoebox fords a lot. They were trippy looking it moves the wheel opening right up to the top of the fenders.
