I'm trying to sell my 77 Corvette and the guy who wanted to buy it was all set until the front brakes started acting up. When he went to stop, the car pulled violently to the right. Could it be the right caliper locking up or the left caliper not grabbing enough?[S...Help before I have to go in debt replacing parts!!:D...CR

i would say the rubber line is going bad, and not letting the brake release fully, or the other brake hose is bad and not letting fuild go thru! either way, cheap fix!RTD

Sounds like the left caliper is not working so it it pulls right. A bad hose will also cause the brake to drag and not release. Cars always act up when you try to sell them, if they're happy at home they don't want to leave..[cl

I don't want it to leave either as I've had it for 17 years and have become attached, but it has to go! Thanks for the solution Fuzz. I think I'm going to replace both brake hoses and take it from there.....CR:D

Went to the parts store to pick up the 2 brake hoses they promised me they had on hold, get there and of course they only have one! Have to listen to lip from the former convenience store clerk (she was a bit** there too!) how they can't hold items, blah, blah and more blah! (they were the only store that carried those lines) went home and tried to decide which line to change!! Replaced the right one and the brakes work great.... Thanks guys!!..CR
