ok ,,i sold my truck and bought a runner and driver right, well i had to do some work on it but not much,, my funds have been real low do to the economy,, and havent had the money to start another, i been gathering a few parts , and right now i need a cab, frame material , and a box or at least the stuff to build a box with, and so on, i have a motor a trans rearend, wheels steering parts, and a 72 chevy truck as a donor,, but man i have been felling a little depressed cause cant seem to get what i want to start the build, i feel i real need to build , it is kinda like therapy for me,,. even thou i get to drive mine to car shows, its not the same.. the oem car is to new to and original, to cut up, and really i like the trucks better,, i miss my old truck bad!!! i need a fixer , I NEED ANOTHER RAT ROD TRUCK!!!!!!!:(

ever been thru this?

For me half the fun is figuring out how to put them together, so I always have at least one project in reserve. Unfortunately, with the way I've been working for the last year and a half, I've not had a whole lot of time to spend on anything. It seems I only get one or two Saturdays a month (if that) to play / work on my toys, and THAT is what drive me up the wall. Like you, working on something is my mental health time and I've not had nearly enough lately

Hey Rev, Have you tryed the old yard west of Cullman on 278? Lots of old tin there. Seen some cabs there. Didn't get price though. Good luck.
