I have a 35 ford pickup body and frame and havent done this before so i wondered what is a good frame setup as i have the original frame but want a small block chevy..

it also depends on what you want. like fenders or not, retro store, are the axle in front of the radiator look. you could go over the build lind to see what you like or don't like. your frame is good for some builds but not all the builds. good luck and i'll watch for your build yhread.:)

Here are pics of my dads 35. It was sectioned about 10 inches in the late 50's. He is running a 400 SBC and 400 turbo trans.

Junebug if you can build a truck as nice as Timbo's dad you will have an outstanding looking truck. Personally I would try to run front fenders because I think they look awesome.

He is going to put some cycle style fenders on it. Haven't found a roundtoit yet.

I would use the frame that came with the truck. Chassis engineering make a lot of good parts for that frame. Suspension and Motor . Plus the vin number is stamp on the frame and is located on the left frame somewhere between the cab and front cross member
