The 18th annual Bunny Run Car Show leaps back into Jackson April 16th, 17th and 18th with hundreds of street rods, custom cars and trucks from 1972 and earlier on display at Jackson Fairgrounds Park. The annual event is sponsored by the Jackson Rod & Custom Car Club and is held each Spring in April near Easter.
Organizers estimate that approximately 400 to 500 cars will be attending this year from over 12 states bringing 800 to 1,000 to 1,500 people to Jackson.
Car show registration is $30 per car and includes chili supper on Friday and BBQ on Saturday.
The Bunny Run is open to the public on Saturday, April 17 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, April 18 from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Admission is $4.00 per person, kids 12 and under are free or with a donation to the Underprivileged Children's Christmas Shopping Spree. 100% of the gate proceeds go to the charity event that allows needy children in Jackson and Madison County to go on a Christmas shopping spree for gifts and clothes they otherwise would not be able to afford.
The host hotel is the Econo Lodge next to Casey Jones Village. Other participating hotels in Jackson are the Guesthouse Inn and Jameson Inn. Fairgrounds Park is located in historic downtown Jackson, Tennessee at 800 South Highland Avenue.
