Way to go. I am so glad there are guys out there, who can find the old tin, and get it into a hotrodders hands, so he can get a project going. Keep up the good work.

You guys who live in the midwest and places like So Dakota have NO idea how we all envy you.[dr I would be driving around every small town out there if I lived there, looking for stuff like you find.

Don

sounds like a good deal for ya--and the guy who bought it got a good deal too!! that looks like a really solid piece of tin...[dr

don is right-we envy you...:p

Dang WB, i would have given you 500 (payment plan) :D You have a fun way to be making a living and preserving the old stuff too.

I could have got a lot more, I saw 2 that were in worse shape bring $1000-$1200 on an auction. But when I can turn one that quick for a decent profit, that's a good game for us both.
If it was a 35 Ford, it would have been a little different story tho.
Same ranch, more junk. I have a 60 Belair dealt for, 4 door six banger. And a model A hay bucker plus 3 other model A engine/trans, a hay rack made from a 31 Buick, and a 60 Olds flatroof.

Don, you have to get out quite a ways to find this stuff. Most of the stuff I find is on ranches that are way off the highway and I have to travel 50-100 miles one way because all the stuff closer to town has been picked. I found this one 35 miles from the closest town. 11 miles of gravel road and 2 miles of cowtrails.
