Yep, I've seen that several times before on Ebay. Evidently no takers. It would take some serious inventorying by someone who knew what the stuff was worth to determine if it was a good deal or not. On the surface it looks good, but who knows for sure?

Not only would you have to take an intense inventory, it would be good to know whats going on with the property. It may be zoned as a wrecking yard now but what happens when the ownership changes? Not to mention the fact if the cars were not properly drained of fluids and they have leaked into the ground you could be faced with millions of dollars of clean up at the hands of the EPA gestapo, given the fact that Vermont is a liberal tree hugging state this I am sure would be a painfully ordeal.

If anyone actually bites on this they had better do some serious home work.

I can see it now, congratulations! You now have 6 weeks to remove all automobiles and another 6 weeks to do an environmental clean up to the satisfaction of the EPA and state and local authorities, by the way, you can't sell the property for 15 years to make sure any and all toxins have dissipated from the soil. And after the sale if any toxins are found you will be responsible for additional clean up costs.

Yup, that. There are reason's nobody with a million bucks wants it. first of all you would have to make 160,000 a year just for the debt service on the money. On wholesale the cars are not worth over crusher price, say $100 a ton. But the whole EPA thing is the scariest. I would have a waiver in hand and EPA dudes all over the thing before I took it over. Not happening
