I was watching an old Gene Autry movie today & he was driving a '42ish Ford PU pulling a big horse trailer! I've pulled those big trailers & can't imagine pulling one with an old flattie like that! [S

Have you seen the picture of his Diamond T and trailer. Pretty snazzy but I'm betting Gene wasn't in that old gear grinder running 40 mph tops, he was in a caddy convert and already at the venue.

I loved that movie and the car. At the time I had a 55 Olds Super 88 2 door hardtop sitting in my yard. I never did find out if that was a true special production car or just some movie story.
