Mrs Tripper, her sister & nephew lit out for NOLA this morn leavin' the ol Tripper at home with the animals so tonight I'm chillin'... eating rum cake & watchin' Mecum selling the very kooool Wellborn Collection of beautiful cars! 1st off was a '69 Hemi Daytona with 6.435 orig miles! It crossed the block for $900K! Wow!!! [cl

The sad part is, 5 years from now it will still have the same mileage on the odometer. A car like that is useless, no better than a painting hanging on a wall.

That's because the people that can afford that kind of money aren't real car people. They are investors.
I know a guy like that. Everything he buys is an investment. He has all kinds of comemrative rifles and hand guns. Star Wars toys and collectibles. You name it. All he does is stare at the stuff. Me. I'd be out playing with all of it. And if I payed that much for a car you better know that I would be out somewhere driving it like I stole it. [cl
