I think this guy's smoking his crop.

Chrysler Canada made Fargo trucks for Plymouth dealers. I've never seen (or heard of) a Chrysler pickup... though some "old-timers" refer to any Chrysler product as such.

Crank is right. I've never seen or heard of a Chrysler pickup. I'm 99% sure the guy is chasing the white dragon.

I agree with Pops. Technically, it is a Chrysler pickup, but they never branded any trucks with the Chrysler nameplate. Be the same as calling a Chevy a General Motors truck, which it is made by General Motors, but GMC is the actual name of the corporate truck.

early years

maybe he got confused as this article says plymouth made trucks:[S

Plymouth built various trucks and vans over the years, mainly rebadged Dodge or Chrysler vehicles. Early pickups, delivery trucks, and other commercial trucks were available, and later an SUV, full-sized vans, and minivans. Plymouth had supplied components to the Fargo vehicles, another member of the Chrysler family, but entered the commercial market in 1937 with the PT50

Later

You can see part of the Dodge emblem on the side of the hood if you enlarge it. The guy thinks Chrysler covers all mopar products.

Agreed and agreed.

I'll bet the seller read Chrysler Corp. on a tag and listed it, oblivious to his error.
