Was about 15 when i opened the hood on an ugly '61 Plymouth and saw that crazy engine. I didn't know what to make of it.
 
If ya'll know me at all I'm for "simple"...probably because I'm simple minded:D

I really like the Indianapolis set up, but the rest of the ram cross flows look too busy to me. One of the reasons I don't particularly like the modern engine configurations is all the plastics and covers showing. I know, I know, they make all kinds of power and they are pretty well vetted as roadworthy. I like seeing the blocks in their simple form...lean and mean!
 
I have always loved the weird stuff they came up with at Chrysler back then.

I`ve got a bunch of books with all kinds of Mopar related items from early hotrod mags and such. If and/or when winter gets here, I may have to dig them up and post some of that, if anyone is interested.
