...Before the Daytona Turkey Run. Some last minute thrashing.

I changed the steering wheel in my Mercury from this...

To this Crestliner wheel (the wheel of fortune). PS-I also tucked all those wires that are hanging but no photo. Too busy

I installed some Appleton spotlights also today...

I modified some Cadi sombrero hubcaps to go on the front but the epoxy won't be dry until tomorrow so I'm not going to put them on until I get to Daytona. I'll throw them in the trunk and pop them on when we get there.

I finished up some lower dash panels for my Dad's Mercury after making the guage insert.

I folded and rounded all the edges for a more finished look then painted them gloss black. Also painted the column black and added some a/c vents for the eventual install. Eventually this interior will match....stay tuned.

That's about it and probably not many , if any more updates until after the weekend when we get back from Daytona. See ya on the other side.

Cool

Nice Work!
Have fun,I have always wanted go down to the turkey run but have not made it yet.I have heard it is a blast.Nice cars, great swap meet.Total fun.Wish I was down there too.

Very nice! Those Crestliner wheels are priced like they are made out of gold.
I should have grabbed the wheel out of the Crestliner I sold for the roof.

Have fun at the show and take lots of pictures.

Your Dads is starting to really come together. I was waiting to see how you were gonna tie it in with that wheel.

Have fun at the Run and bring back some good pictures!

Small improvements but impressive ones.

More proof of the Gestalt Theory that "The Whole is Greater than the Sum of the Parts."

You gotta get your brother to trade that plastic car for a lead sled.:D That would make quite a parade.

I really like the Crestliner wheel and your Dad's.
The spots look at home on it.
I put a set of those Appletons on my 40 a couple weeks ago.

Jim
