Well ,I am feeling better and this long weekend I got some long awaited stuff done!
I "had" a big ole oak tree in my front yard die and it needed cut down.
I had to climb to the top and start cutting there cause if I cut it at bottom and let fall it had alot to hit.My shop on one side the road on the other! My house on the other and my log retaining wall on the other!
I was able to drop all but the bottom 16 feet with my little 14in. bar poulan saw! This old tree was at least 60 ft tall and I was up about 40 ft.My neighbor loaned me his harness and rope and away I went!

wood stove?

Yes..............well I have all the steel and the plans for a wood stove in my shop!
I have all the 1/4" plate cut to size and the prints for a stove that will heat 3200 sq.ft.(my shop is 2400 sqft.)
My best friend has one that he bought and I am copying his design.I just got my chimny set up this weekend too! I made it from a piece of 8"X 8" square 1/4" wall tube.It is set in a hole 36"X 36" X 36"deep and filled with concrete!
This tree will add to the wood pile I already have stacked out back of my shop! When all is done ,I will be toasty warm when the snow is flying!

I'm afraid of heights as well!!! NO WAY... these feets stay basically on da ground!!!
