Yikes
I did a little lifting yesterday while working on the dodge.
pulled, sanded repainted ,and reinstall the toolbox
and adjusted the front bumper.
and now my spinal arthritis is killing me.
I don't want to take an extra tramadol because I don't want to run out before it is refill time.
but good god this is sore.
and in addition
i got the full blown flu
and yes i gotta work tonight.

at least my bumper looks better

it was drooping really badly and when i got under there
i found that the holes are slotted and the dang thing is adjustable.
who knew?
since i work alone i had to come up with a way to pull hard on the bumper and tighten nuts at the same time.
a load strap did the trick.

my gal (bless her heart) wants to help me.
but even though my various projects darn near cripple me
it is easier for me to just do it and deal with the hurtin later
back in my booze/dope days i had no idea i was so motivated
but once i got sober i found that i am like a wasp in a closet if i dont have anything to do.

oh yeah
i had to make a special trip to the store to buy a 18mm deepwell socket.
i got 2 toolboxes full of std and metric tools
but not one 18mm
and even then i hadda buy a whole set to get it!

i have about 5 seventeens and 6 or 8 nineteens
it turns out the 18s are mostly used for automotive fasteners
that makes sense

this kinda stuff is what harbor frieght is good for.
i needed that socket once.
and i bought the set for 10 bucks.

Might sound a bit strange...but Midol will kill the pain. Don't take a whole one if you plan on going to bed to sleep. Half of one will do. Lots of caffeine in them so you'll have lots of dreams and a craving to tap dance if you take a whole one!! No poop...Midol does work for pain, that's what it's for, it's just marketed for women generally. I have a degenerative spine with osteoarthritis (think that's how it's spelled) so I have an idea what your up against pain wise. And yes I've tried it, and yes it works.
