When I think of a custom, I think of these types. Not just a chop and paint but really custom. Years ago I took home a trophy from a starbird show in the custom 4x4 class. I had added 6 inch steel fender flares on my 76 ford bronco. I had a frenched electric antenna, wewhoo! Their definition of a custom included a body altered from the original. I still like a custom to look like a different car almost. Maybe mild custom, vs wild custom.

Okay. I'm more of a traditionalist when it comes to customs, or mild customs as Bonehead calls em . So I'll put some of those here. I really like the smooth lines of a well done 50's style custom. I'll put up some pics of the radical customs that Bonehead likes later on.

Nothing wrong with mild customs, I like them too, but my gears start turning when I see something new and different.

So this first car was built by a guy here in town, and it is top notch, workmanship, (except the firewall.) Kind of a Boyd looking car though. The second one is from the Bo Huff car show. More of a classic custom.

i don't really dig wild customs. they are fun to look at but generally speaking the builder always seems to try so hard to make something different that it turns into something that resembles a jackrabbit on crack. not that jackrabbits on crack don't have their place .

I'd post something up to but i'm not a picture hoarder. So instead i'll just enjoy everything you guys are posting . keep on!
