The amp gauge says ALT instead of GEN. Didn't 63's have generators?

not sure but l called a guy who has a couple of the 1963/1964 Mercury Monterey's and he told me the1963-1963 1/2 have silver speedo backgrounds and the 1964 have black speedo backgrounds and the 1962 one is a totally different shape.

he said it's worth about $125.OO bucks missing the fuel gauge, a lot more if the fuel gauge was there.

I think its a 63 mercury dash.

I think the Ford and Merc were nearly identical in the early 60's.
