I never have had any luck finding anything cool on Craigslist. I guess I just don't have the knowledge of using searches and stuff or the patience to just keep looking through every add from every location.
This morning while my wife was out with all the other lunatics trying to find a deal the day after thanksgiving, I was looking through adds on craigslist. Stumbled across this add and the truck is only about 10 miles from me so I drove by to take a closer look.
There wasn't anyone home (probobly out shopping) but the truck was parked by the road. The sign said that it runs good and stops good. Looks to be all original and only missing the windshield glass and seat. The suprising part is that while it does have its share of dents, I didn't see any rust through and only 1 or 2 bullet holes, both pretty unheard of in SW Michigan! This truck would make an excellent start to a cool hauler or ? If it wouldn't have been so close I wouldn't have gone and looked at it as I have a 46 Chevy COE I am working on already. I recognized the background in the pics and knew where it was but don't travel that road regularly and never noticed it.
Anyway, I figured if I shared maybe some other rodder would find their next dream project. So here's the link:
